This small apartment has been completely renovated and given a modern look with a rustic touch. The Spanish architects at Estudio de Sinaldaba Architecture transformed a compact apartment with small rooms into a more open and functional home.
Stone Walls And Wooden Beams
The architects skillfully turned the apartment into a comfortable multifunctional space. The kitchen, dining room, and living room share one area, while the bedroom sits apart. They preserved much of the existing character, including rustic wood panels, a brick wall, and wooden beams, then painted the walls and ceiling white to make the interior feel lighter and more connected.
Warm wood ties the rooms together: the small wooden kitchen, dresser, doors, and wall panels make the space feel cozy, while a small red leather sofa becomes the center of the interior.
A Complete Renovation
The apartment is furnished sparingly, with almost no extra decoration. Tall windows bring in plenty of light, and some older elements, such as the stone kitchen sink and wall shelf, were preserved. The result is a modern, interesting interior created with relatively little cost and effort.
