Innovations come in different forms. Creative designers have already presented many projects and lighting concepts. We have already presented to you minimalist, classical and industrial lighting for every room in the house. It rarely happens nowadays that a new lamp looks really original. This wooden pendant design impressed us in a very positive way.
Suspension or wooden bird house?
The design is called the Oiseau light and is an excellent example of successful cooperation. Architects and designers Olivier Chabaud and Jean-Francois Bellemere created it for Compagnie. The wooden pendant lamp has a poetic name and an unconventional mix that defines the inside of the shade. The lamp combines the idea of a bird's nest with Scandinavian-style lighting. On the one hand, the design is characterized by clear lines and forms; on the other, it looks interesting and draws attention to itself. At first glance, the lamp looks simple and unobtrusive, with a traditional shape and white exterior. Look closer, however, and you notice its quiet beauty. The lamp recalls the construction of a bird's nest. The inner surface is untreated wood.
Wooden suspension with original design
The suspension is made partly of wood. A small bird silhouette gives the design an authentic look. You might wonder whether it is a bird's nest or a lamp. The light is a subtle accent to the bird figure. It is a charming pendant light that gives the room personality and is well suited for the living room or dining room.
