PMK+Designers, a studio specializing in interior design, created this modern urban apartment in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. The project, known as Lai Residence, combines elegance and restraint with a clear contemporary concept. Warm materials, open planning, and carefully chosen decorative ideas shape the whole interior.
Interior design – warm colors for balance
The interior is attractive, with large windows and sliding doors that blur the boundary between indoors and outdoors. Comfortable furniture follows a clean modern direction, while the generous balcony offers sunlight and broad views of the city. The integrity of materials is an important factor in interior design. Solid wood, cement, and raw metal were chosen because they retain their beauty and blend naturally with the surrounding environment.
