We present the Oost-Egeon Architecten modern house remarkable reed island – a good example of sustainable architecture. It was built in Tamariskhof on the artificial island reed island Ljburg Oost, a residential area in the east of Amsterdam and stretches over 3 floors with a total area of 224 m².

As before, the wood is a popular coating. The modern town house with a wooden exterior design created by having a strong connection with the landscape. Vertical and horizontal layout advice profile is combined here with success. The wood paneling is ecologically very popular, keeps you warm and looking good. Here the wood has good insulation and is relatively inexpensive.
Modern town house offers simple comfort
A non-traditional approach to the eco-friendly house architects have added a number of modern elements. The first residential floor has a comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling glazing, kitchen and dining room with classic furniture design and simple furnishings. Large sliding glass doors can be opened to access the garden. At the second level living room with an open kitchen and the bedrooms are also located there. This provides a more comfortable home office, modern town house with panoramic views of the lake.
Passive house – facade with wooden panels
The modern city of Egeon Architecten villa is equipped with air conditioners and heat pumps, natural ventilation, windows glass resistant to heat and underfloor heating. The green roof complete the overall impression of an ecological house in efficient and sustainable wood.
