The historic jewelry brand "Relojería Alemana" opened a new store in Port Adriano, the marina designed by Philippe Starck in southwest Mallorca. The refined jewelry store design was created by the architectural firm OHLAB and gives the space a glamorous new presence. Five "Precious Boxes" organize the program: VIP area, back office, temporary art installation space, outdoor lounge and signage. Three boxes are inside the store, while two extend the gallery onto the terraces.
The interior design of the jewelry store in Majorca

Mirror-finished gold stainless-steel panels cover the boxes. The panel joints are deliberately curved, creating small deformations across the orthogonal volumes. These subtle distortions produce warped reflections on the golden surfaces. The interior is defined by three glass facades and an intense, homogeneous backlight. A matte white textile ceiling prevents reflections and emphasizes the gold volumes.
Jewelry-store design influenced by a sense of luxury

Each box contains an eye-level jewelry showcase at one corner. One side works as a shop window toward the glass facade, while the other opens into the store. On the sea-facing terrace, two boxes of different sizes define an outdoor lounge and carry the store's only signage.

The design of the jewelry store creates a slightly distorted golden world. The project reflects on the concept of luxury through a play of appearances, where things are not always what they seem.
