Wooden Cabinet and Drawers Create an Optical Illusion

The wooden cabinet is constructed from different types of wood. Every detail has a rectangular form. Although the elements share a similar shape, the different wood structures and colors create interesting contrasts and focus attention on the design. The composition of the individual components creates an optical illusion. The design was part of the Booleanos Glocal Objeto Deco project. Masisa, one of the leading MDF furniture manufacturers in Latin America, and Nono, an innovative furniture design company, were involved in its production.

Wooden Cabinet – Creative Furniture Design From Mexico

This wooden cabinet was one of the highlights of a furniture design exhibition in Mexico. Following its success, designer Joel Escalona also created shelves with a similar appearance. The designer specializes in limited-edition furniture and carefully produced objects.
