Is it a modern table lamp, a home accessory or even a work of art? This sculpture is part of a new lighting collection designed by architect Frank Gehry and recently presented in Los Angeles, United States. The winning project draws attention with its unique concept, detailed execution and refined production.
Contemporary table lamp in the form of fish

Architect Frank Gehry has always drawn inspiration from nature and the relationship between humans and animals. Fish motifs appear repeatedly in his work and over time have become one of his trademarks. When he experimented with a new material and modified it, he noticed that its remnants resembled carp scales. That was how the idea for the sculptures in his latest collection was created. The works of art are made of plastic, with several small LED bulbs installed in each fish. The result is a beautiful design with added function: the sculpture can be used as a modern table lamp.
