The holiday home in Croatia, called J20, was designed according to minimalist principles. The facade is partly white and partly clad in dark wood. Because the site is inhabited on nearby sides, the architects chose a partially open plan: the north side is more protected from views, while the south side opens generously toward the garden with broad glazing. The house is composed of two volumes. One contains the living room, children’s rooms and bathrooms, while the other holds the kitchen, dining room and parents’ bedroom. All of the main rooms overlook the courtyard. Balconies on the upper floor allow residents to enjoy the view.

Inside, the house impresses with elegant material choices: the staircase and several interior accents are covered in wood, while other walls use matte white tiles. The living spaces feel cozy and comfortable, with a white leather sofa creating a relaxed place for the owners and their guests. A pool on the upper level offers refreshment on hot summer days. Subtle ceiling lighting gives the house a calm atmosphere at night, making it a small island of quiet within the city. The holiday home in Croatia was designed by DAR612.
