Fresno House is located in Cariló, Argentina, and was designed by Felix Raspall and Federico Papandrea. The house is surrounded by a lush forest of mature trees. The modern holiday home in the forest has many interesting features, but order and simplicity stand at the top of the list.

Fresno is a beautiful summer house in a forest near the South Atlantic. The slope and existing trees were the main determinants of the project’s geometric architecture and construction plans. The house occupies a small clearing in the forest and is positioned in relation to the slope to create views through the building.

The living room, dining room, kitchen, and studio are located on the ground floor. The living areas open onto the pool terrace through floor-to-ceiling windows. The outdoor area has double height and is perfect for a summer barbecue. The upper floor has three bedrooms with access to a large terrace. The main construction materials are concrete, glass, and white plastered masonry.
