One goal of the architects was to bring the landscape into the interior while preserving as much open space on the property as possible. The impressive architectural project preserves the simplicity of local architecture while conveying a sense of antiquity within a cosmopolitan resort.

One highlight is the use of mosaics on exterior and interior walls. The colors of the surrounding landscape are skillfully echoed in natural pastel tones, making the warm interior inviting and restful. Most of the furniture, lighting, and decorations were designed by Aggelopoulos; other pieces come from collections by well-known designers, including Tord Boontje’s “Shadow” and the DSW chair by Charles and Ray Eames.
