COS Design created the landscape and pool area for this modern house with a pool in Caulfield North, Melbourne, Australia. The Balaclava Road project combines luxurious outdoor living with a spacious timber deck, making the rear terrace ideal for relaxing, entertaining, and spending time outside. David McCallum of DDB Design and Build worked with Steve Taylor and the COS Design team to complement the architecture with a refined outdoor setting.

The focus of the project is the timber terrace, where the family can enjoy warm evenings and open-air living. COS Design created a striking landscape around the pool, balancing minimalist lines with lush planting. Bamboo provides privacy, while Japanese maple, cycads, and clivias add sculptural greenery. Granite, concrete, gravel, timber, and decorative panels complete the polished outdoor design.
