We present a home in the mountains, which introduces a new concept. Modern architecture blurs the line between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Mountain house – modern architecture with a universal concept
The minimalist building is located in the northern part of the Andes, 2470Meter above sea level The owners – a young couple in desperate need of a project. With the task, the architects were commissioned by Arquitectura X. They were faced with the challenge of designing a modern house. They were inspired by the beauty of the place and built a house with a large front of the window. Since there are no houses nearby, no one disturbs the privacy of the owners. The architects chose a project both beach house and mountain home is appropriate. You give the house an interesting look using only local materials. The building is located in a seismic area, so the architects decided to build the house with clear geometric shapes.

The facade is a combination of wood, concrete and glass. The use of concrete secured the degree of stability in desperate need of the building. The ground floor was built so almost entirely of concrete. A court has been designed. On the second floor, the facade was decorated with wood. Here, the private spaces of the family home – the bedroom and bathroom. The connecting element is certainly within the wood – the floors, stairs and even the island of minimalist wooden kitchen. This is a modern house in the mountains, where merge the boundaries between inside and outside.
