Small but mighty

I had a real crush on this unusual duplex.

The brilliant idea is the raised sleeping area tucked up near the ceiling. It defines the entrance below while freeing precious floor space for the rest of the apartment.

The materials are just as appealing, especially the flooring and the brick wall in the dining room. Small as it is, this apartment has the confidence and functionality of a much larger home.
