05/12/2016 – Studio Deepp renovated Casa Palma for the real-estate company Reiderstadinvest. The apartment, about 70 square meters, is located in the Santa Catalina district in the center of Palma de Mallorca, on the first floor of an early twentieth-century building.
The original Mallorcan-style apartment was completely renewed, both in its systems and in its layout. It now contains two bedrooms, one bathroom and an open living room-kitchen, while the island character of the home remains visible in the original geometric floor tiles and the three-meter-high rooms.
The central kitchen island balances the living area and gives the compact apartment a clear functional heart. It organizes the space without making it feel crowded.
The furniture choices preserve the atmosphere of the place, favoring natural materials and a subtle vintage note that respects local tradition. The kitchen area was reorganized around a window to create access to a small terrace through a large door.
On the top floor of the same building, a 25-square-meter terrace was converted for exclusive use by the same property. The modern orangerie becomes a fluid room thanks to a mobile glass wall that, once opened, creates continuity between inside and outside.
