This impressive art installation was created for the project "Landscape wasted." The large-scale structure in Paris was created by Elise Morin and Clémence Eliard.
The art installation "Wasted landscape" – idea and implementation

The huge art installation consists of approximately 60,000 old CDs that cover a series of low mounds. The whole construction spreads across 600 sqm. The idea of the "great outdoors" was inspired by the rapidly changing environment. We already know that CDs will soon no longer be part of daily life. As a result, the idea of using these "relics" creates a very effective art installation landscape.
Meaning of the art installation "Wasted landscape"

The "Wasted Landscape" project points to important aspects of the modern world, including the role of art in today's society, environmental problems that can gain greater visibility through such projects, and sustainable development in all its forms. The project uses a comprehensive and innovative approach to raise awareness of current issues and problems.
