30/09/2011 – Norm Architects is a Copenhagen-based studio founded in 2008 by designers Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen and Kasper Rønn. Their work is rooted in the Nordic landscape and in a careful use of natural materials, with the aim of creating spaces and objects that age well.
Their designs are simple and minimal, but always attentive to detail. This precision gives their work its particular charm. Beyond craftsmanship, quality, and the aesthetics of simplicity, Norm Architects emphasizes the importance of creating a relationship with nature as a way to give projects vitality and longevity.
For Jonas and Kasper, good design responds to real needs, engages the senses, and brings function and beauty together. Their work is therefore not only about form, but also about timelessness, atmosphere, and soul.
