This wooden pavilion is located in Fire Island Pines, New York, and was designed by the architectural studio HWKN. The project enriches the nightlife of Fire Island Pines with a renewed community hub. In 2011, a fire destroyed the original nightclub, so the architects designed a new building with an expressive contemporary style.

The wooden pavilion was conceived as an environmentally respectful project with a natural look. The wood gives the building a warm, informal character. The simple but elegant design responds to the waterfront setting, and the stepped structure opens toward the views. The building has two covered terraces with beautiful views of the harbor.

The construction of the wooden pavilion is simple but still original. The property has two floors. The first floor offers a relaxed lounge atmosphere where guests can easily enjoy a drink. In the evening, the second floor becomes a trendy nightclub and one of the region’s party destinations. The decor is simple but comfortable and was kept in harmony with the wood interior.
