We present an exceptional architect-designed residence in Switzerland that cleverly combines tradition and modernity. The project, Attico Migani in Lugano, was designed by architect Victor Vasilev and completed in 2011.
House Design in Switzerland With a Striking Minimalist Facade

The client wanted a modern but comfortable home that would harmonize with the surrounding buildings and include a heating system suited to the character of the architecture. With this brief, Victor Vasilev reinterpreted the principles of minimalism in a simple, restrained composition. A large balcony and roof terrace open the house to views of the surroundings, while climbing plants typical of the region provide privacy. The terrace is furnished sparingly, and in the evening the purist design is refreshed by pink LED lighting. Glass railings keep the exterior visually open to the landscape.
House Design in Switzerland: Modern Black-and-White Interior

Clean lines, soft lighting, and glossy finishes define the interior of the house design in Switzerland. Interior and exterior follow minimalist principles. Bright white surfaces define the rooms, while teak wall paneling adds warmth and hides service areas, the elevator, and storage spaces. Basalt is used for both interior and exterior floors, creating a visual connection between the rooms and the terrace. Integrated lighting is one of the subtle highlights of the project.
