Two huts modern design were created by Luis Rebelo de Andrade in Braga, Portugal. The project for the snake Tree Houses has been developed in collaboration with the Society modular. The idea was to get away from the standard concepts in the construction of prefabricated elements. These charming huts standing on straps and delicate like two snakes that glide between trees. Like a wild animal in its natural habitat, appear suddenly in the forest.

The choice of materials gives a feeling of harmony and communion with nature. A perfect symbiosis between the buildings and the park Salgadas Pedras. The architects took advantage of the new technology that has allowed the lightness, floating above the forest floor. Local raw materials, slate and wood were used to insert the drawing shelters in the country. These materials have given them a degree of invisibility, so do not take the initiative in the park.

Sustainable development and ecology are the basis for the development of the project. Among the ecological solutions include good insulation, heating systems, water reuse, water and solar panels, LED lighting and others. Each cottage features a studio with private bathroom and kitchen. The creation of the two houses is minimalist, but it offers all the necessary amenities. After crossing the bridge, you enter a bright room with a large bed. Square windows offer a beautiful view over the treetops. The message is that you should enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by nature.
