Hi-MACS is as solid as stone, yet it can be worked like wood. The material can be thermoformed and heated. The result is seamless edges and surfaces. Its smooth, non-porous surface is easy to clean and offers high resistance to heat, everyday disinfectants, moisture, stains, scratches and liquid penetration. Some HI-MACS sheets become translucent when combined with light. Because of all these properties, the material is a strong choice for architects and designers.
The modern kitchen island by Adriana Tihon and Atvangarde Surfaces appears in very bright colors. The project creates a perfect balance between elegance and innovation. The strong HI-MACS ® Banana color was used for the entire worktop and bar. Small lamps installed behind the smooth front create remarkable light effects.
