This minimalist sauna stands on the shore of Lake Ranco in Chile and was designed by Panorama Arquitectos. The small spa complex includes a wooden sauna, a changing room, and a generous deck where visitors can relax while taking in panoramic views of the lake.
The minimalist design of Panorama Arquitectos’ lakeside sauna

The concept behind this wooden sauna was simplicity and naturalness. The small buildings have a clear geometric structure and were designed to blend into the surrounding landscape. Individual rooms are connected by small bridges of stone slabs. Oak was used mainly on the exterior because it is durable and weathers well.

Sauna interior design with practical planning

The design of Panorama Arquitectos’ panoramic sauna was planned to be practical and functional. Alamo wood was used mainly for the interior cladding, and large windows frame beautiful lake views. The peaceful setting and restrained design add to the feeling of harmony and relaxation for visitors.
