The Athens-based architectural firm Tense Architecture Network recently completed an amazing concrete house on a hill in Kallitechnoupolis. The concept frames the beautiful views through sliding glass doors while the building rises with the slope of the hill.

Because the residence sits between two other homes, the design turns inward while opening the plot to the east. The architecture follows the natural slope. Concrete slabs frame the windows like a case. This section opens the residence to the outside, allowing air, light and the beautiful scenery opposite to enter the home.

A swimming pool is placed at the lowest point of the home. At the entrance, elongated concrete slabs form a terrace and an enclosed outdoor space without fully covering it.

The facade is made of reinforced concrete, with the material used in two colors: a dark tone outside and a slightly lighter shade inside. The geometric rigor of the prism is divided into three sections. The shell is broken open, and nature is invited into the home.
