Industrial-style interior design – a successful combination of materials
The industrial-style interior draws its energy from the contrast between metal, concrete, and original masonry. Brick walls, exposed beams, and ceilings connect the apartment to its older architecture, while the steel kitchen bar and visible ceiling pipes give it a contemporary loft character.
TC-Interiors designed an open living area that brings together a compact kitchen with an island, a dining area, storage, and the bedroom zone. A comfortable lounge with a leather sofa and artwork offers a place to unwind, while tall windows pull daylight deep into the apartment. Instead of dividing the rooms with doors, the designers created smooth transitions between zones. Materials such as wood, stone, concrete, and metal give the renovation both warmth and structure.
The industrial-style interior reveals the raw beauty of the brick wall
In keeping with the concept, the designers integrated a modern lighting system to mark the different zones. Large metal pendant lights draw attention to the texture of the brick wall. The renovation keeps the raw surfaces visible wherever possible, allowing unfinished brick and exposed services to become part of the industrial-style interior.
