A Modern Terrace With A Glass Facade
The Southlands Residence was completed in 2011. Its facade uses large panoramic windows that frame views of the surrounding landscape. A wide wooden deck provides a place to relax during the day or gather with family and friends in the evening, while the nearby stream gives the garden a calm, natural character.
A Cozy Modern Interior In Vancouver
Inside, the residence continues the natural and environmentally conscious approach. Wood is used as a primary material, especially in the angular roof structure and furniture. Large windows and skylights bring daylight deep into the interior. The decor is modern and minimalist, but still warm, comfortable, and free of unnecessary ornament.
