Bedroom colors – natural shades provide relaxation

A new study in the UK suggests that blue supports relaxation. The right wall color is an important prerequisite for healthy sleep. Blue is associated with tranquility and is reminiscent of water and the sky. This color was preferred by academics, university professionals, and construction workers. Blue is also said to be good for blood pressure and the heart. In second place is yellow, which relaxes the eyes and has a positive effect on the nerves. For colors of the room to have a positive influence, nature points to green. Vibrant but quiet, it is an unusual combination, but a very effective one. Silver wall colors and decals are reminiscent of the moon and act as a sedative. Then comes orange, surprisingly: the color creates a warm, friendly, relaxed atmosphere and supports digestion.
Bedroom colors that interfere with sleep

Room colors that disturb sleep are mainly black and red, while purple is not necessarily good for the sleeping area either. Dark tones stimulate the brain, which can lead to insomnia. Dark brown and dark blue can make the room appear darker. If you still opt for these colors, focus them on the wall behind the headboard. In this way, the strong color will stay out of view while you fall asleep. A colorful bedroom should instead be painted in pastel colors. Use wallpaper with large patterns carefully if you want a calming effect.
