The hi-tech products in the "Cybernetic Meadow" collection are the result of Sam Kronick's initiative to encourage a better understanding of technology, electronics, and a more conscious way of living, in this case through the Consortium for Slower Internet. His design range consists of three simple objects that offer a new direction for thinking about the relationship between people and technology.
Hi-tech planters combine electronics

The collection includes a WiFi router, an iPhone docking station, and a concrete photo display with a 16 GB USB key, all successfully combined with concrete planters. Each design object meets the requirements of functionality, safety, and durability. Information and free, easy access to it are an important part of life today. For many people, a slow and unstable Internet connection feels like a disaster. Yet the larger amounts of information we encounter every day also need more thoughtful attention. With his project, Sam Kronick suggests that we should allow ourselves more time. This could open up unexpected horizons.
Hi-tech products that promote environmental awareness

The hi-tech elements are integrated so that any office looks more vivid, and the plants provide clever camouflage. However, they still need to be watered and cared for. The shallow planter is ideal for succulents, moss, and small ferns. It is easily removable, washable, and replaceable.
Wi-Fi router that draws attention to slower Internet speed

The massive base has the warm look of oak and does not interfere with direct access to the ports on the TP-Link TL-WDR3600 router.
