Large and solid in presence, this expressive lighthouse is not made of stone or wood, but of clear glass. The impressive glass lamp also has an unusual construction: stacked glass elements can be arranged to determine its size and height. The designer explored the stability of this delicate material and created a lamp that gives off light without losing the lightness and transparency of glass.
Glass Floor Lamp Inspired by a Lighthouse
Although the lamp’s appearance is clearly inspired by lighthouses, its structure works like a classic stacking toy. That makes it more versatile than it first appears. This unusual glass lamp can be used as either a floor lamp or a table lamp.
