This charming furniture design was presented at the Maison & Objet exhibition in Paris as part of a Baxter installation by Paola Navone. The first scene looks like the ice queen’s castle, yet the setting remains welcoming and friendly. Baxter leather, as always, is the soul of the collection. The deep-buttoned sofa, soft armchairs, ottomans and white Mongolian fur elements invite relaxation while keeping the entire composition theatrical and refined.

Each chair has a different structure and design, yet all pieces explore the expressive possibilities of leather and white. Natural white, glossy white and matte white appear throughout the installation. The large Carrara marble dining table is especially visible, while the large pendant lamp creates a more intimate mood.
Furniture Design in Soft Leather
Baxter leather is the soul of this collection. It appears smooth, bright and comfortable on the backs of chairs, soft and generous on large poufs, and striking on the deep-buttoned sofa. The many textures Paola Navone created for Baxter remain magical even with the elimination of almost all color. Here, the qualities of the lamps, tables and even LED elements can be fully appreciated. White flowers in white ceramic vases and mirrored tables create a poetic, imaginative scene, almost as if a mythical ice princess might appear at any moment.
