A watch tower, A house Design

This is what can happen when client and architect work closely together.

The client was British furniture designer and Royal Society of Arts member Duncan Jackson, who also designed the round bed for the watchtower. The curved roof is especially successful: it rests on the otherwise austere tower like a soft cap, making the building feel friendlier and more welcoming.
