Creativity knows no limits. Just when you think you have seen everything in design and gadgets, another innovative object appears. This time, Italian designer Christian Zanzotti offers a pleasant surprise. The former motorcycle designer has always had a passion for beautiful gadgets and home accessories. This modern hookah is his first international project.
Modern hookah with a futuristic design

Modern hookah by Christian Zanzotti can be used for smoking or simply as an attractive home accessory. The minimalist look and stainless-steel body make it immediately eye-catching. Produced with modern technology, including 3D printing, and materials such as aluminum and brass, the futuristic water pipe shows careful technical detailing. Fans of sport motorcycles may recognize some of the finishing details; that is no surprise, because the hookah is inspired by motorcycle construction.
Modern hookah consists of eight parts that can be easily removed and reassembled. It includes a water container, valve, hose, folding column, tobacco bowl and connecting heads. Overall, the water pipe is surprisingly compact and easy to transport.
Modern hookah is fascinating, but where did the traditional water pipe originate?

Shisha is a water pipe often associated with origins in India and later introduced to Europe and America. In Arab countries, tobacco is still smoked regularly in water pipes; in European countries, tobacco is sometimes replaced by dried fruit or alternatives such as Shiazo stones. Whether hookah smoking is less harmful remains disputed. As a symbol of Arab culture, the hookah also inspires modern home accessories with a touch of Arabian Nights style.
