The Circle sofa design consists of four to six modular pieces that can be arranged in different configurations: a semicircle, a complete circle, an open version and more. The elements are available in two versions, with inward or outward rotation. Color variations are also possible and influence the room in different ways.
The resulting design provides fun and relaxation
The unique combination of convex and concave lines creates a spatial sculpture. The slight recline moves gradually toward the back while the height remains constant, making it perfect for relaxed sitting or lying down. The Circle sofa design works as furniture for public spaces or as lounge seating for the home.

The modular elements weave through the space and become real eye-catchers. The Circle sofa has a steel structure and cold-foam filling with cotton upholstery. Created through a collaboration between UNStudio and Walter Knoll, the design by Ben van Berkel for the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart received the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2007. In 2013, the modular sofa was presented at Tortona Design Week in Milan.
