The Italian-Spanish studio IlmioDesign works across architecture, interior, product, and graphic design.

That range is clear in this project. Here, even graphically, the design builds a bridge between Madrid and a fashionable Asian atmosphere. It does so through typical design elements: large signs, seat cushions, temple bells, and materials such as wood, stone, rattan, paper, and black metal (cast iron), which also appear in traditional Asian architecture. A look at the designers’ site is worthwhile; there are more beautiful projects there.
