Simple wall shelf with secret compartment – "Clopen" Torafu of Architects

The last project of Japanese studio Torafu Architects seems to be a common floating shelf, but it actually contains a simple secret drawer opens with magnets. Previously Torafu architects designed a desk and a shelf to hide that sees itself as a bowl. The "Clopen 'wall shelf with a secret compartment is manufactured by Japanese Tanseisha.

The tray is made of aluminum and develop with its 34mm thick panels, looks as if it had been built in natural wood. The shooter does not have handles, but opens with magnets to keep the secret. The magnets are disguised as wooden key chains. If shot with a magnet thickness 23mm drawer for storing valuables such as passports, savings accounts, etc. appear.
