The interior design of a new learning center promotes learning ability

This unique and original interior design creates a new learning center for children, their parents and adults involved in the educational process.

Project Design – General Objectives

The original project is located in Hong Kong and was designed by Joey Ho Design.The interior design departs from the usual fairytale cliches. The designer tried to look at everything from a child’s point of view and equip the center according to children’s behavior and abilities. The learning center needed to meet children’s physical as well as psychological needs, helping them discover their potential for learning and development. The building covers an area of 7500 square meters. It's designed to bring children and parents together and create an atmosphere where both generations feel comfortable. While the little ones explore the space, adults can take part in the learning process and try to understand children’s feelings. The result encourages a fruitful dialogue among children, parents and educators.

Learning Center Interior Design Brings Joy to Young and Old

The interior design of the learning center is carefully planned. Every functional area is furnished with special ergonomic furniture, and children and parents can discuss new impressions together. The center includes a basketball court, a kitchen area and a bathroom with a large fountain. Seminars and exhibitions can also be held there. Because areas usually intended for adults are available to children as well, the design required very safe systems that still feel playful.
