In difficult times, any simple way to create a small escape at home is welcome.

Taking a little time to return to childhood and feel carefree again can be inexpensive and surprisingly effective.
The idea is simple: in a large, bright apartment with high ceilings, create a cocoon by draping fabric over the sofa. Add cushions in several patterns and sizes, then place small lamps with warm shades below the fabric for a cozy atmosphere.
