Argentinean architect Nestor Sandbank now lives in Israel and is known as the architect of the television show "Extreme Makeover Israel." He also designs high-end homes for some of the country’s wealthiest clients. His contemporary luxury home in Israel, called "Cubes," is located in the quiet suburb of Ramot Hashavim. The villa concept responds to a family’s desire for private rooms for each member. Each cube functions as a small personal unit with a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a view of the pool.

The cubes are connected by another volume, creating an L-shaped house. This shared band contains a home theater, a games room with billiards and table tennis, a designer kitchen, and other communal living areas.

The house is almost fully automated, a high-tech counterpoint to its green courtyard planted with orange, grapefruit, avocado, and lemon trees. The interior is defined by elegant materials and surfaces, surrounded by large windows and glass doors that can open or close at the touch of a button. Warm hardwood floors complement pristine white walls and a polished concrete staircase.
