Take a look at how you can furnish a modern apartment. Futuristic geometry gives the interior a crisp, forward-looking character, while warmer traditional elements bring comfort.
Furnishing a modern apartment: inspiring ideas from innovative designers

This apartment interior was created by Geometrix Design, a studio based in Moscow, Russia. The luxury apartment, called Dominion, was designed around the clients’ wishes and preferences. The brief called for no bare walls left for later finishing, so the designers had to balance materials, colors and textures carefully. A textured wall of natural stone reflects that custom approach. In the lobby and living room, the walls are covered with Alcantara panels, while the kitchen features natural slate on the walls and furniture surfaces.
Geometric forms define the apartment

The home cinema is the undisputed eye-catcher of the apartment: a sculptural feature that works as both art and function. This is a modern apartment concept in which practical storage is hidden behind the geometry. Look closely and the shelves and drawers are tucked away almost invisibly, turning storage into part of the design. The geometric language continues in the bathroom, where solid walnut panels cover the walls. The nursery is especially inviting, with a cozy alcove for reading. Its light boxes and images can be changed as the child grows and their interests shift.
