High-quality handmade oriental rugs are used as the raw material for the Mashup carpets. First, each oriental rug is cut into thousands of pieces. The fragments are then refined and carefully composed again by hand. Finally, the carpet is dyed, creating a complex vintage look without questionable greenwashing.

In a modern interior, an oriental rug can feel like a distant echo of the past. Designers Eva Langhans and Thomas Follner believe that only those who respect the past are able to see the future. The Mashup rugs tell stories while honoring traditional craftsmanship.

Mashup rugs are available in five different sizes and six colors. A custom design can also be created from a palette of 14 colors. Logos, letters, and numbers can be printed or woven into the rug, and everything is made by hand.
