BV House by Jacobsen Arquitetura is a one-storey building with a flat roof that extends across the green meadows of Porto Feliz. Surrounded by golf courses, it was designed as a weekend home for a family from Sao Paulo. The architects chose a single storey, but expanded the house horizontally to make the most of the distant scenery, including lakes and mountains.

The house is divided into two wings, each with a specific function. The main part contains the social areas of the house and a terrace for relaxation. Service areas are located next to the garage and connected to the rest of the house by a translucent pergola. One expressive feature is the use of non-orthogonal angles, which make the rooms feel less rigid and direct the view outside. The three areas that make up the region are marked by stone walls almost one meter thick.

The rooms have wooden panel blocks that integrate the eaves and porch, framing the internal and external areas while protecting them from sun and rain. Teak wood adds appealing visual warmth. Recreational facilities include a home theater, a children’s playroom, a bathroom, wet and dry saunas, and a locker room.
