A beautiful new design was recently presented by Hugo Bugg during the Chelsea Flower Show. These concrete slabs are inspired by nature and resemble cracked clay soil.
Concrete Paving Slab – Project From England

Hugo Bugg is well known in British landscape design, and with good reason: his gardens create small oases where nature plays the main role. For this project, created in collaboration with KAZA, the landscape designer used concrete slabs that resemble cracked clay soil. The paving was presented at the Chelsea Flower Show and received awards.
Concrete Paving Slabs Draw Attention to the Water Crisis

The beautiful mosaic is composed of 54 individual elements. Each piece is prepared separately and then connected to the next through an innovative system. This makes the installation much easier to place in the garden, even though the concrete panels read as one unit. The tiles also have a practical advantage: like cracked soil, they allow water to pass through and dry faster than conventional concrete.
Concrete slabs are made in light gray; the color is the only clear reminder that they are man-made rather than natural cracked earth.
With these concrete slabs, Hugo Bugg wanted to draw attention to the water crisis and offer an alternative approach to conventional paving.
KAZA Concrete specializes in exclusive designer paving slabs. For the company, concrete is a versatile material that can also be used to create modern art.
