Joyce & Jeroen is a typical terraced house in The Hague, the Netherlands. 2015 entered the home remodeling project architecture staff includes a comprehensive approach to infrastructure development and extension of the living space outdoors. Increased transparency through the use of glass is the current trend in the design of the modern home.

The home remodeling allowed architects and designers to realize their bold visions. The structure of the house had received a lot of potential and stayed. The typical facing the street facade has been renovated and now has a new design, inspired by the typical style townhouses in The Hague. The other side of the house has been completely disassembled and disguised the height of 11 meters around again and glass.

Behind the house, the bearing wall between the hallway and the living room was replaced by a steel structure. The concept went on four new corridors, with 2.4 meter high ceiling used. The boundaries between interior and exterior were made permeable and thus create a new living space.

The three stages are surrounded by a housing jacket open glass. The serenity of the building is welcoming glass. Also form inside an eye-catching shiny surfaces. Inside arise exciting Fabkontraste continue in lighting design.
