Presented during the London Design Festival, this series of lighting design objects was created in cooperation with Claesson Koivisto Rune under the name “Made in Mimbre”. The designers named the pieces Medusa, Chinita, and Bellota, which mean “jellyfish”, “ladybug”, and “acorn” in Spanish. The resemblance to these natural forms is recognizable at first glance.
Lighting design with an exclusive character
Wicker lamps are real eye-catchers for both interior and exterior spaces, and they are very much in fashion. The Medusa, Chinita, and Bellota lighting designs are available in different shapes and sizes, including table, floor, and pendant versions.
Lighting design inspired by natural forms
The lighting design is inspired by natural forms and, thanks to careful craftsmanship, is very durable. Medusa looks like a living sculpture with a simple silhouette. Its oval shade is supported by thin metal legs that suggest jellyfish tentacles and cast delicate patterns of light.
Mimbre lamps
The woven pattern creates a distinctive, warm look. The pieces also work well as a contrast in modern, minimalist rooms.
