Imaginatively decorated in vintage style
A couple from Tampa, Florida, had dreamed for 17 years of a beautiful house by the beach. The long wait was worth it: they finally found their dream home. The interior, however, did not really suit them. Brown walls and too much furniture made the rooms look dark and cluttered. The couple took the initiative and changed the interior piece by piece. The walls, floors, and windows were painted white. In furniture stores and from local carpenters, the couple selected several vintage-style pieces, including the large mirror in the living room, the rustic dining table, and the bed in the bedroom, all of which give the interior a personal touch.
Vintage-style decoration gives the rooms character
The decor is an eclectic mix of vintage-style furniture and country-house accessories. In the dining room, royal-style chairs are skillfully combined with rustic pendant lamps. In the kitchen, ornate metal ceiling panels contrast with the island, which the owner built from wooden pallets. The staircase also fits the stylistic concept: a railing made from untreated tree branches and the distinctive steps draw attention. Sliding doors connect the different areas seamlessly, while the white color creates a visual link between the rooms. Who would believe such a powerful interior hides behind a white facade?
