The brief called for an avant-garde yet representative residence, and the design responds by adapting to the contours of the site until it feels like an extension of the landscape. Casa Altamira creates an atmosphere of harmony, balance and retreat. Its open, asymmetrical composition is made from several volumes, each reflecting a different part of daily life while maintaining fluid connections between spaces. The living room opens to the surroundings across the full width of the house through sliding doors.

The architecture is conceived as an extension of the natural environment. It is a modern house with a flat roof where glass and natural stone create a timeless dialogue between interior and exterior. Each room has its own private connection to nature and a distinctive view toward the Virilla River valley. Abundant daylight enters through the windows, increasing the sense of comfort throughout the home.
