Modern architectural concepts reinforce the connection with nature
Lee House is designed as a single-story volume composed of a large open outdoor area and two enclosed boxes. In every room, the connection to the exterior is strongly emphasized. Through floor-to-ceiling frameless glass, the mezzanine lounge opens onto the garden. When the sliding glass elements are open, the space functions like a covered outdoor living room or a comfortable veranda. Because temperatures are high for much of the year, the architects use modern concepts of architecture that respond to the climate.
Lee House is passively cooled
The interior is spacious and simple. A mix of textures gives the rooms variety in color, shape and structure. High-quality materials and refined finishes remain neutral enough to let the natural beauty of the setting stand out while ensuring comfort. Wood and white surfaces create a calm, almost minimalist atmosphere, complemented by warmth and a sense of security.
