A modern boat with an egg shape new opportunities for marine animal researchers. The project was created as a result of a collaboration between the PAD and the group Spud studio. Researcher Stephen Turner also had a great influence – it will work next year.
Modern Boat House helps researchers
The estuary of the Beaulieu River in the United Kingdom provides a good opportunity for research of marine animals. Above it was built a modern house boat, which has a laboratory and has the necessary equipment for researchers. The construction of the boathouse combines a boat and a house. It is made of local wood. Inside there is a bed, a desk and a small open economy, and a bathroom. The Bottshaus can withstand the elements – sun, wind and rain are not dangerous.
