This beautiful mountain home is located in Santa Anita Golf Club, Tlajomulco, Jalisco, Mexico, and was built by Agraz Arquitectos. Unlike its white exterior walls, the interior is furnished with warm, bright colors. The steeply sloping site was the main challenge of the project.
Cabin in the mountains makes use of the slope

The parking and pedestrian areas form the first level of the project, while the rest of the house is fully oriented toward the mountain and the surrounding landscape. The house uses the slope to its advantage and extends across four levels: parking on the first level, the social areas with kitchen, living room, and dining room on the next, bedrooms above, and the children's rooms at the top, where the views are most impressive.

The four levels required a connecting element, so a continuous staircase leads through each stage of the house. An elevator was also included. In the middle of this precious family mountain home is the wine cellar, perfectly positioned to provide the right conditions for wine: controlled temperature, humidity, and lighting.
