This modern family home has a fascinating facade. The new project by JI STUDIO architects is located in Pachuca, Mexico, and was recently built.
Modern house with minimalist facade
The architects at JI STUDIO organized the large building with a strong structural program. The house is characterized by clean lines and geometric volumes. The raw beauty of the concrete block is softened by glass inserts, with many windows bringing generous light inside. Wooden walls at the entrance and wooden doors make the exposed concrete feel warmer and easier to live with. Ultimately, the building is minimalist and light at the same time: a perfect modern family home, with bright facades and a creative spatial layout. A rock garden was created above the entrance, helping the architects form a smooth transition between exterior and interior. The gray facade therefore fits naturally into the surrounding desert landscape. Integrated floor lamps emphasize the strict concrete architecture in the evening, while plants such as palms and cacti bring an exotic touch to the house.
Modern house in minimalist style
In contrast to the precise geometric facade, the interior design fascinates with a wooden spiral staircase. Unlike the thin wooden elements outside, the entrance hall is richly finished in chestnut wood. The dark brown tone creates a modern and warm atmosphere where family and guests can feel at home. Polished marble tiles add a chic look. Long, narrow skylights create a play of light and shadow and flood the room with daylight. Who says minimalist style is not suitable for a modern family?
