An interesting idea was presented at a recent design exhibition in London: an intelligent lighting concept that turns a smartphone charger into a night lamp.
Mobile phone charger and night light in one design
The design studio Raw Edges recently presented this project. The night lamp combines the functions of a new-generation smartphone with a bedside lamp. Many people charge their phones at night, and the designers used exactly that habit: the phone holder sits on the night table while the phone charges, and the phone's flash acts as a table lamp. In this way, you can charge the phone and use it for light at the same time. The design saves energy and offers an environmentally friendly alternative. The collection includes five creative variations. Each model is made of everyday materials, such as cups, plastic mobile-phone holders and wood. People who travel often will especially appreciate the idea.
