Small apartment plan – 60 square meters

In 2009, Fedalizo Giselle became the proud owner of a small apartment in Vancouver, Canada. The apartment has a total area of 60 square meters and was painted entirely white. The young woman faced the challenge of creating a pleasant, comfortable home and worked with an interior designer. Here are the tips that helped Giselle with the project. Although white walls and dark floors can make an apartment appear larger, they can also feel sterile and cold. Accent colors were therefore used to make the bright living space look inviting and cheerful. Because the tight budget did not allow for major investment in new furniture, special attention was given to suitable decoration instead. The living area, combined with a small dining space, received a fresh modern look. A pink throw and a large painting on the wall frame the room.
New design small apartment

The small apartment was renovated, and the existing furniture was painted and upholstered in matching fabric. Instead of a conventional coffee table, the designer used a stool that can serve as extra seating when needed. The lounge was refreshed with skillfully placed pink accents. The curtains were raised so that more sunlight enters the room. The dining area feels feminine and elegant thanks to the round table and curved chairs. A round table is ideal for smaller rooms, and the mirror makes the area appear larger. In the bedroom, the focus is a pink pompom accent. The bedspread, also partly in pink, complements the overall look.
